Rebecca
Redshaw is an author and playwright. After
receiving her Bachelor and Master degrees from Duquesne
University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania she worked successfully
in the film industry in Los Angeles for twenty years.
Her most recent position in the industry was as technical
advisor for SONY Pictures Entertainment in film restoration
and preservation.
Redshaw moved to Port Angeles in 2002 to write full
time. Her weekly movie reviews are featured on NotesFromHollywood.com
In addition to publishing extensive freelance articles,

she
has published short stories and articles in national
journals and magazines. An adaptation of her novella,
Dear Jennifer, was performed by Pittsburgh New Voices.
Hennessey Street, a play for four women and In Search
of Mary Tyler Moore, a play about teenagers and
aliens (not to be confused with teenagers who actually
are aliens), have been successfully produced.
